BOXBOROUGH, MA — 01/14/10 — Lightower Fiber Networks, a leading metro fiber network and bandwidth service provider serving the northeast United States, announced today that it is expanding its state-of-the-art, all-fiber network in southern New Hampshire. The network expansion will add new routes and fiber density plus connectivity to data centers and business centers.

New Hampshire customers will have access to a full suite of Lightower solutions including dark fiber, Ethernet, wavelengths, Internet access, and SONET.
New Hampshire customers will be able to leverage Lightower's high-bandwidth, low-latency solutions to connect with any other area in the Lightower footprint including Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, the Hudson Valley, Long Island, New York City, and New Jersey.

Flexible Wireless Backhaul Solutions "This all-fiber network expansion also demonstrates Lightower's on-going commitment to providing flexible backhaul options for wireless carriers," stated Rob Shanahan, CEO, Lightower Fiber Networks. "Our all fiber network allows wireless carriers to leverage dark fiber, wavelengths, Ethernet, and Ethernet-over-SONET for their increasing backhaul bandwidth demands. Lightower can provide one or more of these backhaul options in customized solutions for carriers, and the network can be designed in any topology the carrier needs."
